How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

In my music video we used a HD camera. Without the camera it wouldn't have been possible for us to make our video. We used the camera to film our music video but we also used it to film interviews which helped us analyse what type of  music video we'd like to create.

Convergence is a massive part of creating my music video as without a tripod we wouldn't have been able to get steady shots for our music video. This helped greatly as the music video looks professional and would therefore appeal more to our audience.

I used a mac and a laptop in order to transfer my footage, photos and research onto. I used different internet sites and different programmes to edit my video. This helped me to do everything as without a laptop or mac then my construction, research, planning and evaluation would never have been completed.

We used Final Cut Pro on a Mac computer to upload our footage up on. We used different effects to make our footage look professional. We used a cut tool to take out the best parts of our footage and assemble them in an appropriate order that went along with our video. We used different dissolves at the end of each shot like cross dissolves, fade in fade out and others that were very useful to the indie genre. This made our music video look a bit more professional. We used lighting and gradient effects to brighten up the red colours on our music video in order to emphasise the theme of love.

We used surveymonkey to create a survey about the indie genre in general and get our response by posting the survey on facebook. We then also used surveymonkey again to create a survey about our music video and we posted this survey on youtube. These surveys were very useful and we used surveymonkey a lot.

Facebook has been used for result purposes. We posted our music video, surveys and products onto facebook in order to get feedback.

Youtube has been used for posting and result purposes. We posted our music video onto youtube and we could see how many people have viewed our video. We also posted a survey underneath the video and were able to get results from that. I also used youtube in order to locate other indie videos and research them for my research results.

I used blogger in order to put all of my completed work onto the internet and lots of people can view my blog in order to get feedback.
